WCR: All is good with Blackie. Only 3-4 P's, depending upon her moods. :lol: Play has still left the building a long time ago, and I'm not sure if it'll ever come back. It's a good thing I'm not going anywhere this morning. With this slightly lower +1 #, which is 4 points lower than yesterday's AMPS +1, I'm expecting a bit of an exciting morning... Perhaps. We'll just have to see what she plans on doing on my birthday. Yep, just got another year older, and I'm not sure another year wiser. :lol:

Thank you, Amy. Yep... 1 year older today. Hard to believe that I'm nudging ever so closer to the 50 mark. :lol: That's ok, though. I'm glad to have lived this long, and am looking forward to living this long again, as well as a few years longer. God willing. :-D

What a great start for Blackie.She always has such wonderful numbers. You've done really well with her.

I so know on the play time. I never truly had that with Mannie. He simply was not a player. One laid back dude that would rather sleep on his nanners or camp out in the back yard. Now Lola is my player - she makes up fro all the others I've had that could not have cared less. :lol:

No excitement for me this morning. :lol: Don't think we'll be heading out today, either, as we're under a winter weather advisory. *sigh* Not the first time this happened on my birthday. :lol:

This is my Happy Birthday dance. (you do not want to hear me sing :lol: )! Hope you find a way to celebrate, in spite of the weather.

Blackie, you are such a sweet kitty, giving mama a lovely green birthday present. Now why don't you surprise her with a little playtime? I bet you'd enjoy it, too.

Cinco doesn't play either. I always assumed it was because he'd had such a harsh life as a stray. When he was first recovering from his initial FD & DKA, I bought him a little catnip mouse, and for weeks it lay in the same spot. Then one evening I heard a noise from the garage where he was living at the time. I went to the screen door and looked out, and I got all teary. He was batting the mouse around! He only did it for a few minutes, but it made me so happy! He hasn't done it again since he came out of remission, but I keep putting that little mouse near him, just in case.

The last 87 # during the middle of the cycle was 2 days ago on Sunday at +6. Very nice surfing here, "Lil Mama"!!! She only rose 13 points from +2.5 to +7. This is good... This is VERY good.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! I greatly appreciate them all. We WERE going to go out earlier today, but we're under a winter weather advisory, and well... It's currently raining/sleeting, and there's a huge possibility of it freezing on the roads. I'm not familiar with driving in inclement weather, and there's no weight on the back of the truck. Not to mention it's a rear wheel driven vehicle. Best to stay home anyway.

We weren't able to go out and get a cake for me, which I was hoping to do today. Weather intervened, unfortunately. However, we've got things we need to do tomorrow, and it'll be warmer. Thank you! :-D
