There is a test for insulin auto antibodies (IAA) that would be worth having, but @Wendy&Neko can confirm.
 
Yes, on blood draw, two tests (IGF-1 and IAA), both going to Michigan State University. Try not to let the vet talk you out of the IAA one, some do as they don't see the value. But then if you get negative to acromegaly, you still don't know why he's needing higher doses. And we consider IAA as a factor when dosing.

Have you not been able to get tests the last couple nights? I don't want to suggest fast tracking if missing data for the night.

I will test tonight. I fell asleep early last night so, I missed testing him! I always wake up throughout the night but, didn't last night.

Wendy, I took your advice and woke up at 2:30am (+6). He was in the yellow (286) but, he is back up to 401 this morning! Ugh...

I just spoke to the vet. I will start a new post though:)
