Hi everyone!

Sorry about the big delay in updating with Harry.....he's sitting (literally) at 13 pounds, have stopped the ham treats (high salt content), and his demeanor is ok....nothing really new to say. He's still agitated with the needle poke, but if we do it SUPER quick he doesn't mind as much.
Although he (on an off note) has been hacking up lots of hairballs lately! About 3 large ones in the last five days. Wonderful, isn't it, to wake up and have dark brown stains on your beige carpet with a, what looks like, dead small mouse in the middle! Nope, just alllll hair.
I have decided to leave Harry with mom, although she's more nervous than ever. Not like I've asked her to do the testing or anything (just the dosages daily), but she keeps thinking (for some odd reason) that cats are like people. "Just feed him twice a day, you don't have to feed him all the time, do you?" was her question from yesterday. And I again explained that diabetic cats need to eat a minimum amount of food based on their weight, and that I would be buying an auto feeder.

....Speaking of, does anyone have any thoughts or comments on 5 or 6 sectioned feeders, likes or dislikes? I am up in Canada so any canadian brands which are great (and work consistently) I would love to hear about!

Thanks everyone!!

I had the 5 compartment feeder. In fact, I've had two. The motor died on both. Others have had no problems. I have a much lower tech 2 compartment feeder and it works beautifully.
