We're finally getting some snow this morning. We've had a lame winter with just a few dustings after the first early snow. I'm enjoying it while it lasts. It's supposed to warm up again next week.

I always think of Furball when Luci gives me a nice morning purrrrrr when I set up the testing towel and get her up there - she's just a buzzing for the whole time...not like the growling when I have to clean the litter off of her casted foot...boy she doesn't like that!

Hi Carla,
I hope your snow will last for a while. We are having a real blizzard: about 14 inches of new snow on the ground already (on top of the 8 inches we already had) and more to come. Temperature is dropping and supposed to go below zero tonight. Tomorrow the high is supposed to be +8: the Saranac Lake Ice Carnival big parade is tomorrow afternoon. It will be cold standing around for 2 hours watching it! We've invited friends to come to our house for hot soup and munchies after the parade.
Gus went out in the snow this afternoon and almost disappeared in it!
