Buddy's having the flattest cycle today. Three 61's?! I think he wants me to buy him a lottery ticket

He ate more than half of the Wellness beef pate at 5am, so I think I'll stick to pates for the early morning snack.

Also nice to have him not be super hungry today. Not sure why, but usually he's planted next to the empty plate non stop until about 6pm. Today he's snoozing peacefully on his little throne outside.

ooo I love it when black cats are in sunlight Buddy's fur is so beautiful - Jax has very similar coloring. Also, it looked like he couldn't decide at first between sleep and scratching the scratcher

He does! I just glued this one together for him this week. The previous one fell apart because we had unexpected rain.
He's a big boy so I glue 3 scratchers together for him

Buddy thanks you for the compliment! His poor fur used to look so terrible. But now it's silky soft. It must feel so nice for him too.
Yes, I love that rich brown when he's in the sun. It's lovely.

He was finding no support for his head and had to readjust lol.

I have another scratcher in the kitchen and put a beer box there for head support. A bit ghetto, but he uses it!

He’s so adorable. I kept waiting for his sweet little head to slip off the lounger. He really hit the jackpot with you, Mariette.

What a perfect day for him. It seems like he’s just running out of a little duration at the end of the cycle and then dipping down again at AMPS but I’ll take it!!!!
