Yesterday's Condo

J.D. had a nice blue day, and then
Last Night:
280 PMPS
347 +3.25
347 +9

Yesterday at work, the cleaning people came. I have never seen the cleaning people before. They usually come in the middle of the night. I had to take J.D. to another end of the building on a leash, while they vacuumed my office area.
I don't think that had anything to do with his bounce. He just bounced. He ate 1st Dinner at tbp with AMPS, and when we got home at +1.5, Ginger was starving (although she had been left out food as always), and so 2nd Dinner was served. Ginger said she was still starving, so about a half hour later, 3rd Dinner was served (this is only about +2.5, here). Then, I was in my jammies on the computer, and J.D. kept going to the front door and ringing the bell (hanging on the doorknob), clang clang clang, then walking over to me on the computer. Sooo, I got dressed again, and took them for a walk, in the cold starry night. We got to the other side of my block and J.D. was walking along with me like a good boy, and Ginger was lagging behind smelling some bushes. We went around a corner, and I lost sight of Ginger, so I left J.D. to go get her. I had to get my slippers all muddy, going behind someone's bushes to try to get her, and she goes darting out through the bushes and running the opposite way of which we are going on the walk. I had to stand there and decide which cat I was going to go after. Ginger, who likes to take off and hide (sometimes) or J.D. my 17 year old diabetic. I chose J.D. I went back around the corner to where I had left J.D. and found him sniffing parked car bumpers with interest. Lo and behold, here comes Ginger ambling along in our direction, taking her own sweet time.
After that fun walk, 4th Dinner was served...because they always eat after coming in from outside.
Then they wanted treats ohmygod_smile so they got lots of freeze dried chicken livers.... eating machines, they were.

J.D. is fine, and 1st Breffis has been eaten. He is curled up with Ginger in his bed, and I am off to get ready for tbp.

I am so jeolous that you are able to take your kitties for a walk outside. I wish I could do that. Your description was hilarious and I would have liked to have seen a movie of it!

JD, please come down off the pink floor today!

Re: 01/30 J.D. AMPS 353

I used to take Vyktor for walks on a leash but he went off the whole idea once he realised people were laughing at him

C'mon down from there J.D.

Re: 01/30 J.D. AMPS 353

I used to take Do Lou out he loved it  but then the more we went out the more his allergies would flare so we stopped eventually but he loved it
come on down from the pink floor JD

Oh my goodness Dyana, i'm glad they both didn't take off on you! I didn't realize JD was 17 :o

That's so awesome you can take JD into work with you if need be. What does he do while you're there?

JD cmon down from up there. Have a great day Dyana and kitties.

Hi guys .. what a night you guys had! I agree, it must be kinda fun to take your kitties out on a walk, so long as they behave :-D We often tell mocha she needs to go to work with peter, earn her keep around here .. but so far, it hasn't happened! Hope you guys have a great day!

That's a pretty decent PMPS, for me racing home from work and getting here at almost +12.25.

I'm fairly sure I remember Dyana saying that JD ran the customer service helpline group...

Nice PMPS. You are a great bean with all the walks. I bet they both love it. What a decision though. Sweet Ginger didn't make you climb through any bushes. Have a great. Ight Dyana!

 what a great story! that's the only pay-off for them dragging you through everything and getting muddy! i didn't realize JD was 17 either - that's super! i'm impressed.

i take punkin out on a leash occasionally, but then i have to crawl under bushes and through spider webs. he wants to slink along & under shrubs, even though we live in a very quiet cul-de-sac. he acts like he's a spy on a mission. slink, pause, slink, pause.

love those cats!

Dyana, that was such a funny story, I read it to my DH…nice laugh for him tonight, he so needs them these days.

Glad J.D. came down for you. My Daphne is also 17. Do you think they are still capable at this age to go into any kind of remission. I'm hopeful.
