01/30/23 Mikey dosing issue

I usually dose Mikey at 6:00 am and then again at 6pm
Tomorrow I have an engagement that will interfere with his Pm dose. I have to be at the event at 5:30, 45 minutes away, which would mean he would either have to get his pm dose at 4:45 or when I get home at 830 pm or 8:45.
Any thoughts as I am a stickler for keeping on schedule.
I hope it is ok to pose a question like this here

Thanks
Tom

It’s fine to post this kind of question here. In fact quote appropriate What about shooting 30 minutes early at amps and then again at pmps. That should not make a big difference in how he does. Then just leave out food for while you are away. He’s not running low lately so I think he will be fine.

I guess I could dose him at 4:30 am and then at 4:30 pm for the one day and then return to his normal schedule the next day .
Thanks for replying:)

I had a monthly evening meeting that required I shoot about an hour early to get to the meeting on time. I used the couple days before the meeting to start shooting 15 minutes earlier every cycle, so that by meeting night I was shooting 1 hour earlier. Usually shooting 1.5 hours earlier in one cycle is not recommended. Shooting that much earlier can act like an increase. I would shoot at 5:15 tomorrow AM, then 4:45 at PM.

I gave him his shot at 5:00, and of course he hit 86 at + 4. . And I will give him his shot at 4:45 yeas. In retrospect there have been a few times I overslept and he got his shot much later. He was fine.
Thanks,
Tom

You might want to add something to the spreadsheet to show that you are shooting early, so you can track what happens when you do so. If the shot is one hour early, you could put AMPS@+11 or 222@+11 in this case, for the AMPS cell.

Thanks, he had a bounce today after being so low this am cycle, but I may take your suggestion.

thanks
