Micio has been having an unusual BG's bouncing and, despite I finally up the dose to 6u this morning, his numbers are getting higher.
I'm taking him tomorrow for his senior panel and also because he's having a dental surgery on February 10th (Micio displayed sign of an infection on his gums back in Dec 17th, 2021 and just terminated a second round of antibiotics and hopefully he'll be ok till the surgery).
Not sure if his numbers are bouncing because of infection, pain or my occasional/dumb fur shots but I'm thinking about having the vet add IGF-1 and IAA tests to the blood work tomorrow...THOUGHTS?
Meanwhile, should I keep the same dose 'till after the dental and go from there?

I would not keep him in high numbers as infection and not enough insulin can lead to DKA. You just increased so see where he’s at after 6 cycles. I hope this increase helps.
