So Merry is doing nicely in the blues right now :) It looks like he had his little bounce in the yellows the other day & is sticking to blues for the time being. When I look at the patterns on his SS I'm guessing he's going to go to green soon, maybe even today. He likes to keep me guessing so he probably won't go green for another day or two. We'll see!

Either way, he's happy & feeling good in the blues so that's fine with me :)

Looks to me like the unearned reduction to 3.5 units has failed. He's had plenty of time at this dose to clear any bounce and not a hint of green. According to TR, I would increase back up to 3.75 units.

I'm not in a rush to increase. I'll give him a couple more days before I do. I'm not sure I'm going to follow TR anymore, I think it's too aggressive for my liking now that I've experienced it.

You have to use the dosing method you are comfortable with. If you are switching to SLGS, could you indicate that in you signature? With SLGS you would hold the dose as is.

I haven't decided yet but I'm likely going to switch to SLGS because it's less stressful & I think will fit in better with my own life & my other obligations etc.

Merry was on 4.75u for 20 cycles before he started hitting the lows and then he was on 4u for 14 cycles before hitting lows again. I was glad I did not increase those times as was suggested. I'm not planning on increasing at the start of a work week either way. If I increase it will be mid week so that if he does go low I'll have the weekend to deal with it. Of course there's no guarantee it will happen that way but if I wait until mid week it makes me feel more comfortable & I feel it keeps Merry safer, especially when no one is here all day except when I rush back home at lunch to check on him for 10 mins (I only get 30 mins at lunch).
