Hope everyone is having a nice day. Dolly is eating well so far today. The antibiotic is not helping her congestion, we had a midnight steam shower last night, it was so bad. When it's really bad like that she has problems eating, the mucous just bubbles in her nose so she needs to breathe through her mouth. This is nothing new, been looking for solutions for 7 years :arghh:. She is better today :D.

Just lc. She is 68@+4. What do you think? She could turn around and come down like she has at +5 or +6. She has been so good about eating a lot of lc when her numbers have been on the low side. One night I warmed her some mc but never gave it to her. She walked around growling and put her back to me, rare time she could smell something, she was mad :mad: It’s your bedtime. How are you all?

She has chronic Sinusitis. It was just allergies way back, she would actually sneeze blood, her sinus passages were so dry. We’ve run a humidifier 24/7 for the last 3 or 4 years. Put an air scrubber on our AC system. Anyway, it breaks my heart to listen to her eat, the way she sleeps curled up on her perch that is too small. Bought a beautiful soft big one, she’s having none of it. Next step will be looking for polyps in her sinus cavity. Had special X-rays 3 or 4 years ago and she was clear. Now need a CT Scan

I know right! Luci sleeps on a bed of sea shells I have on the lanai..of all the soft comfy places she could relax and sleep, she chooses the absolutely most horribly painful place I can think of...and snoozes the afternoon away...there is absolutely no figuring them out.

I have the Advocate pet meter, actually 3 of them. I got the strips cheaper by buying the whole system. Now I don’t use any of them. It took me awhile to get used to the human meter. Did both for awhile until I got almost the exact same number on both. For awhile I didn’t trust either one :confused:

I see Luci had a fur shot, we had one not too long ago, she reeked of insulin. Have a good evening with your girl. Thank you for the kind message. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Lyla. Just thinking about you and Butters. Just looked in the mirror, can’t believe I am still standing. The exhaustion is, as you know too well, is just too much today. Went to rest for awhile and decided it was a bad idea, it wouldn’t be enough and I would probably feel worse. :arghh: Butters had another beautiful day, so happy for you two. Thanks for checking on Dolly :bighug::bighug::bighug: Seriously hope you get some rest, 70 would be a nice safe number :D:D
