01/26 Eddie AMPS 367 +3 158 +6 115 +9 247 PMPS 400 +2 466 (roller coaster today)

It could be that the BID pred is affecting his system differently and it may take some time, and possibly more insulin for his body to adjust. Wish I had something more encouraging to say!

I think you might have something there.

In any case, here's today's roller coaster report: AMPS 367 and +3 158!!

I've given some LC and will monitor but it looks kind of like January 24th on the SS.

Never, never a dull moment. :cat::eek::)

Hang in there, I know it's hard to get the high numbers and dosecreases, but Eddie's 5 P report sounded really good and as Wendy said, that is most important! Hope his tummy troubles are better now and who knows what he's got planned for tonight given your +6 :bighug::bighug:

Indeed, incoming...
I'm beginning to wonder about what Wendy said regarding "duration"...
He's red at either end and blue in the middle...
Hopefully it's just the pred timing, and as you play with that he evens out a bit. But I know this predates the pred change. Vet is next week?

Yes, vet is next Tuesday. I put the Pred back to once daily snd I want to find out what the filler is they are using in the capsules (0.625mg) His dose is small 1.25mg/day and I thought splitting it might help and perhaps it does but the filler might be causing an issue when given 2x daily. .

Variables are neverending, aren't they?

So, here we are at PMPS +2 466. I started out feeling discouraged, felt better as we dipped into the blue zone, and now feel discouraged again. I'm on the same rollercoaster as his BG. I hope I can get some answers when we get the blood panel done.

@Bandit's Mom just tagging you for nightshift support. Thanks, Bhooma.

Hang in there, Jodey. Our spirits do go up and down with their numbers. Nothing we can do but follow the numbers! :bighug:
He seems to be bouncing tonight. So you can call it a night.
