Good morning! I like her numbers on this dose. How is she doing today?

Good so far. Ate some but not a lot. She’s not a big eater first thing in the morning even though you would think she’d be starved. What do you think about the mc at +1 or 2? How was your day?

If she eats her LC, lets wait till a +2 and decide on the MC. If she doesn't eat, let's do a spoon of MC at +1. Lower end of MC in terms of carbs.

I bought her a dozen cans of 12% and already had the 11%. I can’t remember the last time I gave her hc, have found if she will eat, her lc is sufficient, but not always.Bandit’s numbers look great

Give her a little MC at +4 is she is below 70. Otherwise she should be fine.

I don’t know if it’s infection or the antibiotic she’s on. Searched the internet for ingredients in the antibiotic and it says it’s a malt flavored antibiotic with the only ingredients the drug and sorbic acid as a preservative. Malt flavor? Won’t know until tomorrow. It’s made her very lethargic, a side affect. Something is affecting her numbers, not really high or low. I don’t knowDolly is surfing blue today

Hi Adrienne, was up late last night with Bandit and it's a national holiday today so managed to sleep in. Being really lazy and slow this morning!
You could have stopped testing at that 92 at +3.75 and called it a night!

Yes. Any infection/inflammation will affect the numbers. Is the antibiotic not a pill? If it's a syrup, it could possibly have sugar.

Can you call the vet and ask if there is any sugar in the antibiotic?

Of course I did. When they asked me what her numbers were and I said low 100's to 151 this morning they thought I was nuts. She said you know those are good numbers and I said not for my cat

yes, no sugar, possibly inflammation from uti that has not been confirmed yet. Blood and white cells in her urine.
