Good morning!
AMPS 211 shooting 2.5F
Even with the written and verbal dosecrease threats, he still gave me yellow this morning so back to 2.5F we go.
Boomer ate most of his overnight foods, leaving about a tsp of one serving.
Today on the Bean's agenda....more indoor stuff unless the expected rain doesn't happen. We're under a freezing rain warning right now; it looks like we had a bit last night but it couldn't have lasted long. Rain expected for the rest of the day.
Yesterday we actually had a bit of sun in the afternoon so once DH was home from lunch with his friend, I went out with my camera. I didn't get a lot of photos....at the first place I stopped at there were no small birds around so I had to content myself with shooting what was on the river. At the second place....lots of small birds but they were all camera shy
When I was looking at my shots last night, I zoomed in and at first thought this bird, which is a female Common Merganser, had a fish in its mouth. My elation at getting this shot was short-lived----I looked a bit closer and it ended up being a lure caught on her beak
I emailed the image to our local wildlife rehab specialist; hopefully they will respond and help her out.
