Good Evening,

Whiskers is still always hungry, she ate her food and finished licking Timmy's bowl clean, I feel like the hall monitor.

On a pleasant note, she slept on our bed the last 2 nights and purred. :mrgreen:

There is nothing better than a purring kitty on your bed. :smile:
We lit a fire in the fireplace last night, and both Tessie Lou and her little brother, T.J., slept like rocks in front of it. It was so cute.

I see you're from Minnesota. We're in Iowa, and tired of this winter already! But, guess the folks back east are having a worse one than us Midwesterners so far.

Anyway, just wanted to say "Hi" and Happy Caturday to you and Whiskers!

Good Morning Cheryl. Did you go to the U this week. Harley is always hungry in the AM. Maybe it's the cold. Have a good weekend.

Whiskers goes to the University of Minnesota vet school clinic for consultation this Tuesday. DCIN has pledged up to $480 for the cost of the exam and blood and urine tests. Poor Whiskers is feeling so poorly and her regular vet seems at a loss. Please help DCIN pay for its part of this visit. If you can't contribute for Whiskers, that's OK. She would like cyber-scritches too.

A comment from someone who works with DCIN:

HyperT can cause reoccuring UTIs and metabolize insulin quickly resulting in unregulated FD. I would ask that they do a free T4 if they have not done one already. Buprenex for pain for the UTI is what I used for my cat(GA), she took Baytril each time she had a UTI.

If Whiskers has not had the thyroid tests recently, you might want to put that on your "wish list" for the vet visit.

Hello Everyone,

We are going to the U of M on Tuesday January 25th. We are receiving assistance from the kind folks at DCIN, for which we are very grateful. We are hoping to get to the bottom of some of Whiskers health issues. Thank you for all of your advise and support :mrgreen: .
