It’s not strictly a 911, but I was delayed getting home today and Misty is going a bit senile and forgets to eat. She didnt eat from about 8am and I got home at 6.30pm. She ate grass when I let her out and she vomited many times. She now won’t eat at all. I boiled chicken which usually gets her to eat, I tried her broths which she usually loves. Unfortunately I bought the wrong flavour of another favourite brand and it’s a gravy variety (why do the cans all have to look so similar?) I managed to test her and she was 3.3 (59) at shot time but not eating anything. I managed to get her to eat a couple of mouthfuls of beef mince at +30mins. She didn’t want any more. Will I give her the shot or wait til she’s eating more or give her a token shot - 2u?

I’m sorry I can’t figure out how to put the previous post at the top. It was a while ago.

She came in to eat more. She was 2.8 (50). I gave her 2u. Her usual dose is 2.75u. I’ll have to monitor her closely.

It's good she's eating. The higher 2.75U depot will affect the first part of the cycle. Can you test and feed at +1 and +2?
