Good morning, LL! Everyone got your ~O) ?

I got a night-time check at +4 last night, are you proud of me? ;-) He was 262. Wondering if he had a flat yellow night or if he dipped lower at his nadir. The world will never know, I guess.

Chaos is checking in at 279 this AM. WCR: he's great, as usual. This AM at test time I put him on the couch and he was PURRING! Which makes the next thing that happened so strange. All of a sudden he's this drama king, mewing and trying to escape, even taking a swipe at my hand with his claws! He's never been that bad about a test before, not even when we first started. Are his ears getting sore, I wonder? I alternate and move the site around when I test. I'm going to turn off the beeping on my meter and see if that helps. I got a new one yesterday and it makes a harsher beep than my old one.

Karrie, I agree with you about the Big Lipped One/HomeWrecker- bleh! I sort of have to approve of Kiera Knightley, though she is annoyingly pouty, simply because we both belong to the Sisterhood of the Embarrassingly Flat-Chested. You don't see many of us on the big screen lol!! The third pirate movie though...ugh. It's like someone put 20 story lines into a shotgun, shot them out, and then randomly assembled a script from the pieces. Made my brain hurt too!

HAHAHA. You crack me up. I wish I was in the flat chested club - I'd still hate her face. I had a reduction almost ten years ago and that got me down to a C-cup. My surgeon wouldn't take off any more. BOOOOOOO. When I lost a lot more weight I got down to a B and I could have cried. Gained my weight back. BOOOOOOO again.

Wonder whats up with Chaos. I had to give Maverick's ear a break. I liberally applied a coating of polysporin ointment to them and once a day and they've recovered nicely. Do you have the treats he's going to get at your side so he knows a reward is due?

Not much action going on with Chaos today. 229 at +3, that gives him a chance of hitting blue later on if we're lucky. He is being really awful about tests today. He's not treat motivated, so having treats with me isn't doing any good. I've coated his right ear, which looks more bruised, with the neosporin and will stick to the left one today, then put it on both ears before bed. Hopefully it'll help. I'm going to lay off him today and just do the +6, PMPS, and the +4 at night.

Today's adventures include buying potatoes and coffee, and making a pot roast. Fascinating, I know.

Celi, look at Karrie's post. Ain't that always the way it is? The grass is always greener on the other side! :lol:

I had such a great time at the party last night. Ice fishin with Do Lou and Maverick and Binks was awesome! And all the dancing, and the nip!!! can't wait for next month! ~~Chaos

253 at +6... Looks like sort of a flat cat as well today. He's acting just fine, eating, grooming, etc., I just think he looks so much better in green or blue.

what a nice even sunny mellow yellow day for Chaos. Maybe some blues later for you tonight?

pot roast.... yum! I haven't made that in ages - good eats!

I use neosporin on Mannie's ears too - the one with pain med added. It does help.

That's what Iv'e got- the neosporin with pain relief. I thought it might make him feel better, poor boy.

The pot roast was a success, as measured by the amount of man-satisfaction generated from its consumption. I've got a happy DH tonight!

Looking for lower numbers than what I had to day, so I guess we'll see how tonight goes and what tomorrow brings.
 
Hi Violet,
The Neosporin with pain relief works well. I use the creme rather than the ointment because it isn't as greasy and seems to absorb well. I agree that a few days with fewer tests, especially if you are in the "safe" ranges, will help Chaos's ears.

Chaos! It was great that you could come to the party. Wasn't it fun?! Did you have fun ice fishing? Those fish were delicious!
