I am taking Molly to the vet this morning. But from what I've been reading. If they do put her on an antibiotic, it might not take her diarrhea away? Just reading what others have gone through. Maybe I shouldn't be reading what others have gone through, I guess. I'll let you know how I make out.

No bacteria in her feces, so the probiotic helped that way. But her mass has grown, she's lost 3lbs since has last visit which was November 29. The vet didn't think an antibiotic would help with her diarrhea. But asked if we wanted to try it. So I said yes, she put her on Amoxil. The vet also said we need to make the decision on when to euthanize. Breaks my heart, how do you make that decision? I've never had to do this before. She's our fur baby I really can't make this decision.

DH is in denial so am I, crying and I don't know how I'm going to live without her.
I know Adrienne, my heart is breaking for all of you. I felt the same way when I had to let Perry go. I didn't want to do it but he had no quality of life left. Losing lots of weight, stopped eating, was just so miserable. I remember when we first met and we talked about how much Molly loved to go camping . She holds a special place in my heart, I truly mean that. I can't tell you what to do , I think you will know when it's time, Molly will let you know. I don't even want to think about it :(:(
Sending you and your husband all the strength for when you make your decision:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:♥♥♥

She's still eating and drinking, purring. I don't think it's time yet, vet said to go by week to week see how she is. She didn't take her eyes off of me the whole time. Snuggled into my chest while there. Hissed at the vet lol

I know it's not easy. Molly will have good days and bad days. As long as she is eating and not in pain, I'd wait. Make the most of each day and try not to dwell on the future. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thanks Carla! That’s what I’m doing dwelling on the future. DH and I were talking tonight. How are we going to cope without our Molly. I was talking to my dad tonight. He said pussy cat( that’s what he calls her) had a good life. If it wasn’t for DH and I, should probably wouldn’t be here. He’s right, it’s going to take along time, but eventually we’ll get through it he said.

Oh honey I’m so sorry. I only hope that you’ll know when it’s time. she’s still eating and hissing, sounds like she’s good right now ;)
