6-8 hours of fasting should be enough. You'd still not be able to shoot at 11pm though.

ETA: I shoot Bandit at 8am/pm. I had to fast her from midnight or so. I slowly moved her shot time to 6am/pm so I could shoot her the night before the dental and have enough hours after the shot to feed her.

So Max's dental is tomorrow. I talked to my vet about my feed/shoot schedule for Max. Tonight I'm going to feed and shoot at 11pm and I probably won't pull food until +2 or +3 or what I feel is a good time. Vet said they could work with that. They just won't do his dental first in the morning.

I'm nervous. I'm doing extra cuddles and kisses tonight.

I'm dropping him off early (about 6 hours after last eating), but they are able to work him in depending on his last feeding tonight. I'm thinking I may try and get him to eat a bit more before he goes to the no food zone.

It's good that he is higher at +2.5 tonight. Bandit decided she wanted to drop to the 50s the night before her dental!
