Tray had a lovely night, but of course BOING we are pink this morning. I don't like this habbit of his, but he's in top form, causing mischief. He his behind the door and jumped out at me to scare me half to death this morning. Then he took off running, his tail all puffed up which he does whenever he's playful and happy. Silly boy. I do think I may have given a partial fur shot since I could smell it faintly on his fur. Hopefully most of it got in.

Hope the rest of you and your kitties are doing great, they say this is the most depressing day of the entire year for people but I hope none of you fall into the SAD trap.

With stories like Tray scaring his bean and prancing off all fluffy tail - we will avoid being depressed    He made me laugh out loud.

Good morning! I know we hate seeing our kitties up on the pink floor, but tray is feeling wonderful and that has to overpower the pink floor numbers! Have a great day guys!

Iorwen, I'm curious, have you ever thought about switching to Levemir?

I don't know if it would make any difference, but you have been using Lantus for a while and Tray is still giving you numbers that aren't easy to work with. It wouldn't hurt to consider trying something different, if you're so inclined. Just a thought...

I'll give it some thought and do some research. My vet is on vacation but when he gets back I'll bring my research to him and talk it over. I want to use an insulin that he is also comfortable with in case, heaven forbid, of any emergency.
