Squallie is good today, hardly ate any brekkies at all, tho'. But he's happy and playful so I'll see if I can't get more food in him at lunchtime. Gotta run my little civvie girl to the vet now, she did something to her right eye last night, keeping it squinted, and it's red and teary. I put an e-collar on her last night because she kept trying to paw at it; she's exhausted and sleeping now as she spent all night trying everything she could think of to get out of that collar! I'll update when we get back.

Okay, update on civvie Candy. The vet couldn't find anything in her eye, not foreign matter, no cuts or damage, but he did say the lymph nodes under her chin on that side are slightly swollen, and that the inside of her eyelid is still swollen, as well. He said to leave the cone on for another 2-3 days and give her the AB eyedrops she has from her last eye issue. He thinks she may have allergies, and that would not really surprise me, given her history.

Squallie wouldn't eat breakfast this morning and, by the time I was getting ready to leave, was dropping into the low 60s. The little stinker absolutely refused to eat any of the tasty foods I put in front of him. :banghead::banghead::banghead: After trying 4 different types of canned food, I finally resorted to a very small hand full of dry food (lucky I still had it in the house, I guess), which , of course, he gobbled up with alacrity! So when I got home the first thing I did was test him - 136!:eek::rolleyes: Lol, at least he's coming back down to reasonable numbers now. What a day! Neither Candy or I got any sleep last night; sne curled up on the sofa with me for an all-too-brief nap this afternoon, but I think we're ready for an early night!
