AMPS 148 shooting 2.5F

Yes he managed to bring his numbers down again just as I threatened the dosecrease. He had a humongous drop at pm +3 which set him up for yet another bounce:rolleyes:; I did expect to see a drop last night since he dropped gradually all day yesterday; I wasn't quite expecting THAT big a drop.

Leaving the auto feeder open for his nighttime snacks isn't really helping; he still calls me at some point. Even though last night at +4.5 I got up to test him and I gave him a wee bit more higher carb ff so that I could hopefully sleep for the rest of the night knowing he was safe, he still woke me later:blackeye: I didn't get up but called him and he eventually came btb. He still gave me a kiss when he came btb:kiss:

We are still under a snow squall warning and there is about 4 inches of fresh snow. I'm supposed to have lunch with a couple of friends today; the restaurant isn't very far from my home but one of my friends has to drive in from another town so lunch may be postponed if the weather is still bad.

A few days ago when I looked outside I could actually see a sunrise instead of clouds o_O So I headed out, drove a bit east, and started scouring the fields for Birds of Prey that, as far as I was concerned, should have been actively hunting at that time of day. They weren't:(. But the light was beautiful with sunrise to the east but heavy clouds to the west so I shot some landscapes since I was out. Attached is one of them.

I have never just "come across" an owl :(
At Christmas I mentioned my Snowy Owl to my daughters and the oldest one said "we had an owl sitting on our fence a few days ago...not a snowy but it was definitely an owl" GRRRR lol
 
WOW Boomer! BOING BOING ,& jumped off the diving board for a quick dip! :D

You're looking for Birds of prey? I wish you were here this morning! I had a very Large Hawk in my backyard. He was over 2 ' tall with big fluffy white legs. Beautiful, but he got one of my squirrels.
Now I feel bad that I'm feeding the birds & squirrels & it's created a "Fast Food Diner" for the Hawks!

Yes I had that happen last month, a hawk was using my feeder has his personal diner. GRRR
 
Since I know DH isn't a big fan of testing (although he will test when he needs to) I suggested that he give Boomer a small forkful of the higher carb ff at +5.5 (he was 49 at +4.75 and I gave a tsp of higher carb ff) and then test at +6 as usual and make sure Boomer ate his +6 food.

After lunch I headed to walmart for supplies for Boomer among other things and asked DH to test at +8

Now we wait for the bounce.
