Did you look in The Supply Closet for the coupon? It not there, I would Search on the board for "Lantus Coupon".

I looked in the Supply Closet and the only coupon I saw has expired.

I think the posts in The Supply Closet are old, but the coupon may still be good. I see lots of talk about it on the board. You can send a PM to TheBowHuntress as I think she used it not that long ago.

Thanks for the links to the card. If you scroll farther down the page there is something about activating the card. Do I need to activate it before I can use it? Thanks.

I have never used the lantus card. Do you fill it out with the kitty's info or the owner?

Yes you need to activate it. After you print it out, there will be a number on it for you to put in to activate it.

Melissa, you fill it out as a "caretaker" of a minor child. They don't accept furkids on their program, so it has to look like it's a human child.

I printed out the paper, then called and spoke with someone who asked me questions. I think it was name, age, any other insulins I had used. I gave my name and made myself 18 years old. I know I had to tell a few "white lies," but then the rep gave me the number I needed. I just wrote it on the paper I printed out. The pharmacy (Target) knew the rx was for a feline, and the script was in Cleo's name. It went through fine. They sell me one at a time, and I have gotten 3 so far, at the $25 cost. Much cheaper than they first vial I had purchased.

I wasn't sure how to fill it out. I put F. as the first name and my last name and used my birthday. I hope that doesn't cause a problem. I didn't see it had to be activated before I filled it out.

Like that low yellow, Furball! Good luck with the card. At first the pharmacy couldn't get it to work and I asked them to try again and then it worked. They knew it was for a cat too and they had no problem filling it. I'm sure they are disgusted at the outrageous costs too.

I just used mine for the first time a few days ago. I used "Champ" as the first name when filling out the form online. The only thing I "fudged" was his age which I made 18. Even though "Champ" is not a human first name, everything went through fine. I just printed out the page it says to print out and never called anyone or did anything else. The printed page has a bunch of numbers on it for the pharmacist to punch in when he fills the prescription. Even though the prescription says Champ (feline) on it, it went through just fine.

Not a bad start for Furball this morning!! Hope he slides down the ladder to see the blue floor this morning!!

Thanks everyone for you experiences with the discount card. I was surprised by the 81. I just hope Furball doesn't bounce back up from wherever she went today.
