Yes, when people switch from AT to human meters, they find the higher numbers come down. It's best not to compare numbers between the two types of meters. Many have tried, it's just too confusing. I mentioned the human meter primarily as a backup for now, unless you do decide to switch. Having a back up meter/strips for when you run out of the AT ones and can't get supplies just gives you a way to keep kitty safe.
