Happy New Year all!

So I think I'm losing my mind and forgot to give Sly insulin this morning, I was in a hurry thinking about the other cats, and I honestly cannot remember!!

I just came home and found the insulin on the counter, which I wouldn't have left in the spot I found it.

He is a little high this afternoon at 109, so I am pretty sure I did forget... I feel so stupid!!

Anyway, hopefully he stays where he is until his PM dose.

I'll make my rounds in a bit, I hope everyone is doing well!!

Afternoin, Deb, don't feel stupid at all, it happens , one time about 2 years ago Tyler's numbers were rising, turns out the Lantus pen was empty ,so for 5 days I was shooting nothing . The only reason I discovered it was before shooting I pushed on the syringe and nothing came out . Looking at the new pen I still couldn't see there was insulin in it. Poor Tyler lol

Oy, you poor thing, Diane. What a discovery. A big oops. Luckily he’s just fine!
And Deb, he will be fine. We all get so overwhelmed, don’t we? It’s amazing how much we actually get done! Give yourself some grace. You’re awesome with Sly!

Don't be too harsh on yourself. So natural for it to happen when there's so much to think about with FD. Especially when you have a few cats to care for

He's doing ok, a little higher than usual, but no biggee. I just still can't believe I did that. I never forget and this is the second sugar cat I've taken care of.

Going into work everyday is definitely tiring, even though I get to leave at 2pm and work the afternoon from home. Just so many things going on with the cats..its crazy!
