WCR: Weight = 10.835 lbs., and watching; may have to increase food again very soon. All in all, she's perky, but did get a hold of contraband when DH wasn't quick enough to get it. Negative ketones yesterday, and I wanted to check her due to the recent higher #s from the contraband. I'm not sure how well DH did with measuring her food, and water, but he did ask, and took care of them all (except he forgot to feed outdoor kitty once).
WBR: Had a major bout of the stomach flu New Year's Eve, and a very restless sleep that night into the next morning. Yesterday morning, I barely was able to get her tested, and shot, and had measured out her food when I felt sick again, and had to quickly get DH to get out of bed, and feed her right away. Not sure if she got her food within the 5 minute period or not as I went straight back to bed. I laid there for about 3 hours, and each hour, he came in to ask me the amount of food and the water. He did good, for the most part. I finally got out of bed at around 9, and he noticed a contraband spot on the carpet, and told me that it was fresh. I thought to myself... "Great!" So, I'm sure that Blackie got something, and later on yesterday afternoon, I did a +6.5 check, and sure enough, she started spiking. This is a neverending battle, I swear.
I honestly don't remember the last time I had the flu, and I sure hope that I don't get it again. I think next year I may consider getting the flu shot. Maybe. Never had to get one before, though, and I'm not that old.. Yet. I'm still recovering, and water was/is my best friend. Didn't have any coffee until last night, when I poured myself a 1/4 cup of decaf. This morning, having my first full, and am not sure if I'll have more than that.
I was going to take down the Christmas decorations yesterday, but with the way I was feeling, there was no way. I may start taking things down little at a time as I recover. Hopefully by the weekend, it'll get all put away. I'm still feeling a tad weak, but at least I'm able to keep things down. I hope that nobody gets it.

I hope you feel a lot better soon and that Blackie's numbers are manageable so you don't have to work too hard!
