Another great AMPS! I overslept my alarms this morning. Thankfully I had checked Mister's +9 since he was breaking his bounce and wasn't sure how low/long he'd keep dropping, and thankful that he’s still pretty flat this morning. I know I over fed him (carb wise) a bit last night too but I was just so tired that I needed to make sure he would be safe when I went to bed because I knew how tired I was. And sure enough, both alarms went off and I didn’t hear a thing. I just started a new medication which will take me a little bit to adjust to and I know that also plays a part. But that’s sooo stressful. I need a better game plan.
I want to be able to go to sleep at night knowing he's going to be safe. I want to get better at recognizing and predicting patterns. I wish I could come up with a way to use his automatic feeder that doesn't include locking him in my room so the other animals don't get it (I don't think he'd go for that anyway, the middle of the night is his most active time, he runs the house). But being so tired that I over sleep isn't good. I want to be able to know when it's a night to stay up vs just staying up every night because I don't know what he's going to do yet.
I'm thinking about moving his time even earlier, to 5am/5pm. That would allow me to stay up and monitor his cycle while still getting to bed at a decent hour. I'm even further from that now, so I'll have to work at it every day until we get there.
Nothing else to report, and all good news otherwise. I hope everyone has a great Friday!!
