? Dosing advice ASAP

Do you go to bed immediately after giving the evening shot? Are you still awake two or three hours after the evening shot? Since I believe your shot time is really late (10 a.m. and p.m. Pacific?) Is it possible for you to adjust the shot time to an earlier hour.

Many people will set an alarm for themselves to wake up and get a test at night to check their cat and then go back to sleep if the number isn’t too low.

Hi
I give the shot at ten both AM & PM pacific. Yes i goto bed shortly after. I could do 8 but sometimes I'm not home at the pm time. Ten was the two times I was able to be the most consistent. The strips haven't arrived yet.

Is that your work schedule that keeps you from getting home until after 8 sometimes? That sounds tiring.

Hi
Only three days a week I teach dog classes until 8 pm. Those strips still haven't arrived! She's doing good all seems normal now. I have a appointment next week at vet for a curve on February 19th. My hope is to run a curve at home and send it to the vet hoping she will say I don't need to bring her in. We're headed back to lake Monday Tuesday so I suppose I should do it this weekend. Hopefully she's less stressed traveling to lake this time.

Yes. I would definitely do a curve. Can you do one today? I would just tell the vet that you don’t have money for a curve right now and you did one yourself (yours is going to be a lot more accurate anyway because the numbers won’t be raised by stress at the vet.) Her numbers have been good so the vet should be pleased and will be able to see that you are monitoring her carefully and the vet won’t have to worry about you letting her hypo.

Hi
Had to order new strips the first ones I ordered still haven't arrived! The results were still darker then negative but not darkest. See picture. I tested the old strips again too and they were still very dark so they're definitely no good. Apparently they're only good for the months after opening! She's doing well even playing with the dogs again. I'm home for the full 12 hours to do a curve Sunday do you recommend every two hours or three?

What is between negative and trace. On the photo? The strip covers it up.

Anyway it looks okay.
Hi. Sorry, it didn't tell me you replied. I'm just seeing the last two now. I wanted to update you. My vet did except the at home curve. She said it looked great keep doing what I'm doing. I took urine in too and it was perfect so no worry there. She said repeat the curve in a month. Whiskey been doing well. She's getting more and more playful. She did better at lake cabin too. Car rides are still rough. I think we're on a good path. I appreciate you.

I am really happy to hear that she’s feeling well and happy and playful! That’s what it’s all about! She has nice blue AMPS and PMPS. Don’t know what she’s doing in between— hopefully dipping into green. If you decide that your goal for her is to get into remission, you would need to get a mid-cycle test and we would possibly need to adjust her dose. She’s doing great though and is well regulated. I am very happy to see that.

It notified me this time! That's the goal so like a 6 hours past morning shot?
