Prozinc going bad

Does anyone have a picture of what bad Prozinc looks like? I get there would be particles in the bottle but I need a visualization to better understand.
 
Also the vet tech who showed me how to do insulin said you could push the liquid back into the bottle, but after looking at the thread on how to probably inject the cat. The writer said not to push back liquid into the bottle. So should I not push liquid back into the bottle?

Many people make the mistake of pushing insulin back into the vial from the syringe. There are lubricants in the syringes that help them operate smoothly and we don’t want the lubricants to potentially contaminate the insulin. It’s recommended to squirt excess insulin out onto something else.
 
Does your insulin have particles floating around in it?

Do you gently roll the vial on a flat surface to mix it prior to drawing up the insulin. ProZinc is not supposed to be shaken.

How old is your vial? I am sure you keep it in the refrigerator.
 
I do keep the vial in the refrigerator and th vet tech said I could roll it gently in my hands. I don’t see particles in the bottle. It just has a cloudy look to it. But I have been punching fluid back in. Would that affect my cat long-term or short-term?
