Today is a frustrating low eating day
He had such a long streak going of eating more than average.
Safe surfs everyone!

Thank you! He always has these cycles of above average eating and then below average eating, yet maintains his weight so I guess I should worry a bit less about it.Sorry to hear, Albert. Hope Xander's appetite comes back some today - must be uneasy when he's not feeling it.

I actually bought mine those tiny, shiny, crinkly bows as a present. They bat them all around the house.Cuuuuuute
I've seen a lot of posts of people wrapping boxes with Christmas paper for their cats and putting them under the tree.
Hopefully Xander's appetite comes back.

Aww that's a cute idea. I think we might have a smaller sized box we could try that out withCuuuuuute

Yeah he has been this way his whole life as well but didn't pay as much attention to it when he didn't finish. Feeding him kibble was SO much easier. He eats very small portions at a time, so freshness and wasting food is a bigger issueXander would make an adorable wrapped present.
Gen's tended to have appetite fluctuations most of his life, too, and it's definitely a bit nervewracking at times! I hope Xander gets hungrier again soon.

And I get that feeling Albert. I've got a gal with cancer that goes in and out of those stages. She's also back in hey not wanting to eat currently, so it's back to giving her Entyce. For her, 5-7days of that constantly, and then she eats fine after. And that's also with daily Ondansetron twice a day. :/
Best of luck with your sweet guy
I hope itโs just his normal pattern of eating. Maybe some cats do that. They got their paws on a few of those bows as well. We bought them a few small gifts this year and ended up wrapping them. Hopefully they don't smell the catnip through the paper
For Xander i'm thinking its just normal appetite fluctuations, as he's always been a stubborn eater even when he was on kibble which he much prefers
