12/2 Indy - AMPS: 163

I'm a newbie as well, but it seems good to me. Having suddenly low numbers can be startling, but it seems you only had 1hr where it went too low. And you are looking for those greens.

I'm not sure who's monitoring this board right now, but I didn't see the help part of your post at first. Maybe make it bigger...

I'm pretty new here too, but if you don't feel comfortable shooting under 200, then skip, if no one's able to get back to you. Or for now, stall again

Hubby is going to give him 2.5u and feed him. I hate being nervous about this.
Believe me, I get the worry of hypo. My little trouble has had several hypo numbers. But you just do your best at keeping those numbers as you can with food. I don't like the idea of skipping, and if nothing else taking a smaller amount is usually a safer bet. But Indy's numbers are looking good to me. You can definitely see Indy is trying to get and stay there.

Keep an eye on those numbers and don’t be afraid to use some carbs if you’re not comfortable. You’re still figuring out how Indy’s cycles go, but you’ve got the Libre, which is great. You’ll be able to track cycles well and carb up if needed.

Congrats on shooting another blue! They will get easier with time. What’s important if that you have your hypo kit if needed and that you’re around to monitor/step in if needed.

Hope Indy has a safe surf 🤗

He's looking good! Seeing some good numbers from that 2.5, as the depot is filling. As Briana says, just keep an eye on him. I think he's in what we call a bounce-breaking cycle (notice he went a bit higher last night (bounce) and has been gradually coming down (bounce-breaking)), which often can carry a bit more momentum combined with the insulin. A little medium carb can boost him, if necessary, and keep him surfing if he gets too low. Of course, reserve the high carb for more serious interventions. A couple of tsps at a time. Check back on the board if you get worried. Hopefully, there will be more people around tonight. Surf safely, little Indy!!

Sorry, but I don't see this on the spreadsheet. I know the Libre gets you lots of data, but could you try to put reported numbers into the spreadsheet. Otherwise I get confused.

I think Mary was right about the bounce breaking cycle, which can lead to later nadirs. In this case, it was a +14.

So, when I go back and fill out the spreadsheet, I am using the libre view reports which shows me the high and low for each hour. My husband has the phone with the scanner on it. Still trying to figure out what to do for the data part.

He hit a low of 90 today....but husband told me that it almost immediately jumped right back up so he probably slept on it funny or something.

We use the lows to figure out how to change the dose, so report the lows for that hour. But make sure that fits in with the rest of the data you are seeing that hour.

I guess part of the problem with the lows right now is if Indy sleeps on it funny or croissants....he is squeezing the sensor and it dives down 60 points. Maybe I will give hubby access to the spreadsheet. Lol
