Wow, I'm so happy that FDMB is back.
Evey torn a big part of her skin back in July while i tested her BG due to fragile skin. The wound was very nasty but and it took more than a month to heal. Ever since that accident, I am afraid to pick her up or hold her so I haven't been testing her BG on a regular basis. I've been giving her 1.5U twice a day. She seems fine.
At the end of July, she is diagnosed of cushing syndrome and she has been taking Trilostane (5mg twice/day). After taking the medicine, she seems a lot better. Her belly fur has finally grown back. The vet suggested that her dose should be increased to 7.5mg twice/day. There isn't much research or information about Trilostane dosage on cat. I'm afraid it might be too much. Does anyone know much about Trilostane dose and cushing? Thanks
