I’m wondering if anyone could help me decipher some seemingly random higher numbers in the last days. For example, she had pretty low PMPS numbers on 10/30 and 11/1, but by the middle of the cycle the numbers were much higher. Or today, what could’ve happened after pretty consistent lower cycles for a few days…? My concern is that is it possible that there were some low numbers that I missed and this caused a bounce? Thank you for any thoughts 🩶

It does look she was bouncing in the PM cycles of 10/30 and 11/1. It is possible she dropped lower in the AM cycle of 10/30 and was bouncing from there. Numbers can be wonky during a bounce. She looked like she was clearing a bounce in the AM cycle of 10/31 - she nadired at the end of that cycle and it's possible she dropped lower in the PM cycle and bounced again from there.

Thanks! It’s helpful to know that nadir at the end of the cycle is a sign of bouncing (and a sign of needing to monitor the next cycle). Do you think I should be worried about her going so low that I need to lower the dose? Maybe it’s hard to tell without just testing more.

Some cats can nadir at the end of a bounce clearing cycle and head up from there. Some continue to drop in the next cycle (carrying forward the bounce clearing). If you see her numbers on 10/27, she was lower at PM+1 than she was at PMPS. You can have nadirs even as late as +13 in bounce clearing cycles.

It is hard to tell without more tests. The lowest I see is 90 on 11/02.

I haven't looked up your previous posts - so apologies for asking this again - is there a reason you're using the AT and not a human meter? Pet meters can read much higher than human meters at higher numbers.

And are you following SLGS and not TR, because you can't get a test in every cycle?
