Considering going back to .25 on sunday… unless i should do a +4 am and +4 pm first?
Cool! Btw just so it makes sense to me, the purpose of the later testing will tell us whether his pancreas is working or whether its just insulin right? And if its just insulin, then remission is unlikely. Do i have it right? Or wacky logicNo rush. He’s still looking good.
Thanks for checkin in Suzanne! From just a watching him standpoint, he seems really really good. His appetite is solid, his numbers are decent and litter box is back to his “new normal of the last few months”. He seems to be exhibiting polyuria, but since his numbers look good, im assuming there is something else going on which i will likely bring him in soon. He is showing no signs of pain or discomfort, so im on a slow track with the visit. How is Lando today?
My sweet Darcy passed away on June 26 of this year. I never had the heart and still don’t have the heart to write GA on my signature. That’s just me. But yes, he had acromegaly and developed kidney failure as well. I’ve had quite a few cats with CKD now unfortunately. Some lived quite a while with it, with help from sub-q fluids and other things to help manage the disease.@Suzanne & Darcy i see that M Darcy has renal issues, im interested in whether he had the same thing?
Im so sorry for your loss and apologies if you mentioned this to me before ( i think you did). Thanks for sharing his story <3 my two other cats have kidney disease ( one at 2 and one at 4) i hoped Lando would not make a full house. But carrying on! Hugs to you and thinking of M Darcy
