Sunny hovered right around 100 all night -- and then I fed him some FF braised chicken pate at PMPS+8 -- and his BG spiked to 356 for his AMPS. Crazy. I guess it's the food plus the wearing off of the insulin. But I expected to maybe see him at 150 or 200 for his AMPS. I wish he wouldn't swing so high and low.

Looks like Sunny Bear had a decent surf last night . For sure, feeding after nadir can most definitely put the brakes on duration. Good news, I see Sunny Bear didn't wait too long to put on his speedos again :D
do you only feed before nadir unless it's needed to bring them up?

picturing the speedos again. Lol

It's a bit of the know thy cat thing, but in general for most kitties, feeding new carbs later in the cycle when the insulin is wearing off can have that effect where whatever action is left in the cycle is slowed or halted.
