A pretty good start with a nice drop to greens. I did feed her at +4 before I left to go to campus. I needed to check on the ceiling cat before I headed to a thing I had to do on campus. But she was low blues when I got home, so I'm okay with that.

Update on ceiling cat - still in the ceiling. He did jump down and eat food and drink water overnight, but only what was on top of the cabinet under the vent. So no using the litter box on the floor. I took away the chair we had set up on top of the cabinet because that just aided him in getting back into the ceiling. I put out new food and water as well, and will check back later this afternoon. I know he's near my office in the ceiling, because I could hear him meowing.

Thanks for the updates on the ceiling kitty - I was wondering about him. Glad to hear that he at least ate and drank some.
I hope you'll be able to rescue the poor thing. At least he is in a safe place with food and water now. He's lucky to have found your office!

I can’t believe I missed your post yesterday about ceiling kitty:cat:

Oh my goodness that’s insane. What a heroic day you all had trying to rescue him. Poor sweet kitty must be so stressed out. Will be sending big vibes for kitty to eat, drink and use your litter box and get rescued and off to a good home.
Poor baby, you are all doing such a great thing, I hope it’s coming to a conclusion with a great ending very soon. Please keep us posted:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yeah, he lucked out that we're all basically cat lady's in my row of offices. Now he just needs to come down already!

It was a long day, but Shelbi (my friend) and I weren't really interested in working. :joyful:

I'm hoping he comes down soon. We def don't want him pooping and peeing in the vents that lead to our offices.
 
I also have dinner tonight for Eric's mom. It's 45 minutes before shot time, so I'm going to do her shot an hour late tonight, and then shift it back by 30 min tomorrow and Monday. Not ideal, but I'll also check on ceiling cat before dinner.
 
Uh, she's weirdly dropping? She doesn't usually do this at the end of the cycle - I know there's the Lantus double dip that can happen at the end of the cycle, but that's not usually her thing, and even the small ones aren't usually a drop like this. Because I'm going to be gone until 7 (it's 4:09 right now), I fed her some 9% and am leaving out some 9%. Just a tablespoon. But it's super weird for her. My new goal is that we eat fast and then I come home before 7.

Well, she stayed steady. She didn't eat the second bit I had out, but didn't fall (or she did and is on her way back up?). I feel bad because anytime I actually go out to eat with Eric's folks, I frequently have to eat and run - either for Kit or for work. But we're only an hour off schedule, and I can get that back by Monday.

Thanks Carla. So far she's going down still, but I'm ready if she goes too low.
Somebody from either security or facilities stopped by my office before I got there, because ceiling cat was back down in a wall, which seems to be the place he goes when scared. So, we swapped out the food, and we'll check again tomorrow. Poor kitten.

Boy Kit had a very Green Day and night. Of course when you had to be out for dinner. Hope you got some sleep, Alicia.

Hope ceiling cat cooperates today and gets out of that wall!
How the heck did he even get up in the ceiling to begin with?? :eek:
