Quite a dive at onset! Can you feed a part of the preshot meal at +1 to reduce that drop?
The diving might be triggering a little bouncing which is why you could be seeing higher preshots.

Oh! I see. I am currently feeding him several portions throughout day.
I feed them after every BG check

should I feed him at +1 and feed @+2 also?
