Went to the vet yesterday. Not sharing the full update yet bc it’s pending results of her blood test + urinalysis, but they did say she is doing well on hydration and I can discontinue the SubQ fluids.

On one hand this is good news, but it took us so long to get to a hydrated state (the whole month since Falafel’s DKA) I kind of want to continue the fluids bc I’m worried about backsliding… what would you do?

I’m glad she’s well hydrated. You don’t want to give fluids unless needed. I’d add water to her meals and check her hydration. See if her gums are slick. If eating properly and you add a little water to her food she should be fine.
