Yesterday's thread

It's opening day, which means I get to come home at a normal time, which will please the feline overlord. She's been her usual " it's tech week, mom's gone, I need pets and to know where she is at all times when she's home" this week, so hopefully when I actually stay home after her shot tonight, she'll be happier. I also tend to take the Friday after opening off, mostly because I've already put in at least a day or two of extra hours, but also because it's nice to just relax with the Kit cat.
I'm also ready to get back to just doing the normal feeding for her and not having to go higher or feed higher longer than I would because I can't test.
I hope everyone has a good Thursday!

Glad you will get some time to relax and things will go back to 'normal' for you (whatever that is in the FDM world)

Good meowning Alicia and Kit.

She's still looking good despite the MC/HC food she's been getting.
Hopefully you both can relax and rest a bit in the next few days. I'm sure KitKat will be happy to have her mama back at home.

So, I'm going to for sure increase in the morning. I want to get her back down to better numbers.

You guys. YOU GUYS. There's tornado sirens going off. In Wisconsin. IN FEBRUARY. Not normal. It's not near us, it's northwest of us heading to the northeast, which is good for us. But tornadoes in February are not a thing here! I'm your standard midwesterner, so I'm not freaked out by the tornado itself, just the fact that it's FEBRUARY.

I was so ready to be back home. And now I am! In comfy clothes! And pizza is incoming (only because I know the tornado is heading away from us). And maybe I can catch up on all the other kitties!

The bf describes the hierarchy as Kit, then me, then him. Which is probably correct. :joyful::joyful:

I'm so ready to spend some time snuggling with her tomorrow! So many scritches! Even if I have to lay in the linen closet with her. :joyful:

I work at a college in theatre and dance, and tonight is our opening for our spring dance concert. I hadn't done much with dance prior to this - it's more fun than I thought it would! And man, those dancers work their tushies off!

Oh, boy, I'm catching up on a series that had a new book come out on the 30th that I've been avoiding until I had some free time. I'm so excited! :smuggrin::smuggrin:

Yikes on the tornadoes in February. That would freak me out. I don’t know how you ever get used to that. When we have one I grab Ivy and head to the basement. My DH usually stays in bed upstairs
if it’s late at night. I tell him If he gets carried away, it’s been nice knowing ya. But I’m sleeping downstairs with my girl.

YES to the hierarchy, and NOTHING wrong with it....it's the same at my house...LOL!
Hope the tornado didn't do too much damage....I'm your typical Northeasterner...no tornadoes and flying monkeys for me....I couldn't handle that! Give me a good blizzard ANY day...LOL!
