Since I changed Corky and my Coco(non diabetic) their food brand to Fancy Fest Meat/Chicken gravy Classic,
they do not poop as often as before they would go twice minimum, now it's like every other day or so, my Coco has not poop for 2 days and I have them both on the same schedule with 2 meals/snacks I am concerned
is there a home remedy I can give them?

My cat also had severe constipation with Fancy Feast. I added pumpkin to her diet, canned pumpkin from food stores (check so it only has 100% pumpkin, no other ingredients).
Finally the best remedy I found was pumpkin powder for pets that I add every day to her meals (I found on Amazon).

Changing a cat to a low carb diet means that there is more food that they can completely digest. The carbs are typically things that have fiber or are indigestible for a cat. What they can't digest, is expelled as their poop. In other words, most cats when switched to a higher protein, lower carb diet, have fewer bowel movements. Both of my cats are fed low carb/higher protein food and they usually poop ever couple of days.

awesome to know @! I changed the user name to Corky which is what I wanted from the beginning, but I was told it was bad idea since the forum knows my posts as Mayte, I tried changing but need to wait 89 days

As Marvin gets ready to embark on his journey with diabetes, he's already dealing with constipation issues. We give him TikiCat wet food, which several of their varieties contain pumpkin. Additionally, he gets 1/4 tsp Miralax every other day. Finally, due to his anal gland issues, he gets a fiber supplement once a day (Glandex).

So I'm hoping as Marvin's diet really trims back to low carb that the habits we've already got in place for him continue to work.

looks like I spoke too soon, he's backed up pretty good tonight, made 7 or 8 unsuccessful attempts in the litter box, and even just threw up... anyone have any tricks to help a cat go? can't really feed him more Miralax since I don't think he'll hold any food down now, so either he'll go or I guess I'm taking him into the emergency vet in the morning, sigh

UPDATE- Marvin finally defecated this morning after probably 15 failed attempts and 2 vomiting episodes
