Another great day!
I forgot to share this when I finished it but the other day I finally got around to making a little warming pad to warm up her ear and it's definitely making testing even easier. I sewed some scrap cotton fabric into a small rectangular (maybe 3" by 2") pouch and filled it with dry oats (because I didn't have any rice in the house) and then sewed the top closed. It's ugly but works well. It only takes about 15 seconds in the microwave and it cools quickly so if I overshoot the microwaving time, I'm not waiting a long time for it to cool to a safe temperature.
I'm still a bit surprised at how easy testing is nowadays. She still hides sometimes if she's had enough but she mostly tolerates the 5+ tests a day that I do.
