Cleo gets tired of the On the Cat Wok and the Steak Frites. I sometimes put either one in the food processor for a couple of turns with some water and give it to her as a slurry. So spoiled :rolleyes:

I've been smooshing Chispa's food with a fork since her dental, but the food processor is a much better idea. I thought about trying the new Weruva WX line but didn't think she would like the smooth texture ... now she might appreciate it, though. I need to go back to the food chart to research other options so she doesn't burn out on Weruva.

It certainly is! I'm not sure what the mechanism for the improvement is, but I guess what goes on in the mouth affects everything in the body. Hoping other things will also improve.
How is Biggie adjusting to his newfound freedom? Does he look at you like "aren't you forgetting something?" I hope you are finding lots of good ways to fill the extra time! :bighug::cat:

It makes a lot of sense…so interesting!
Biggie is doing great, thanks for asking! I think as I’ve been testing him less and less he seeks me out more, but that could just be because he is feeling better. I still feed him lots of mini-meals and come around to brush him often, so I never leave him alone for very long lol. His breath is starting to get stinky again and he is making weird sounds when he is eating (like scraping his tongue against the roof of his mouth, really odd), so I’m taking him to the vet Monday…hoping he doesn’t have tooth problems so soon after his dental in Dec…but stuff happens…

I got Neko her own cheapo immersion blender. Something about using the blender for my stuff after it had cat food in it..... especially the raw:eek:

The WX has hydrating puree and a shred variety. Cleo has never been keen on pates but she loves the WX chicken hydrating puree even more than the shredded one. After her SDMA came back at 14 last month, I've been giving the WX as her after nadir "snacks" since it's practically no carb. Just remember to factor in the calories. :bighug:

Stinky breath so soon after a dental, bummer. Could be something stuck between his teeth, who knows ... but whatever the cause, I hope it's an easy fix.
I ordered some of that Healthy Mouth water additive for Chispa on the vet's recommendation. The stuff isn't cheap, so it had better do something ...
So glad Biggie is doing great and getting lots of attention. Give that boy a skritch for me! :bighug::cat:
