I'm not really sure what to expect today as far as Leo's numbers go. I opened a new package out of a new box of syringes last night and noticed the zero line was substantially lower than the previous needles I was using. It looked like there could have been a half unit more than what I wanted so I eyeballed it and hope I gave him 3.25.

I borrowed calipers & it does make it easier to be accurate to get a consistent dose. ( my neighbor said I could use them unless he needed them back)

I'm going to order some calipers. I couldn't believe how much was in the top of the barrel! His 3.25 dose would have been 4 if I hadn't noticed and eyeballed it.I borrowed calipers & it does make it easier to be accurate to get a consistent dose. Make sure they're not plastic. The metal ones lock & stay in position.

I couldn't live without my calipers anymore - each box of syringes seems to have different measurement lines - the calipers insure the same consistent dose day in and day out. Harbor Freight has inexpensive lightweight ones that work perfectly - digital and everything for under $15. I bought a set of bigger fancier calipers from Amazon - but they're heavy - I keep them for back up - but use the HF ones daily - they fit into her kit nicely too.
