Fill the syringe with excess as always I do as to squirt bubbles out.
*Drew down bit past five, bubbles and empty space in syringe.
Rushing to find her outside... didn’t fix dose to correct :woot: :nailbiting:
Shot somewhere between 4u & 5u :banghead: :nailbiting:

I posted 911 because I have no idea what I did. Posted 911 b cause I’ve never followed- seen anyone do this this before.

OMG what damage did I do to Nelli. What is ahead of us. What do I do now?!?

Test early, test often. You aren’t the first to do this and I have seen one fairly recently here.

Get a +1, make sure you have plenty of HC and syrup, make sure you know the number and location of the nearest ER, just in case.

Granted this was on something more short acting, but Alice was ODed once actually in my daytime vet office. I was exhausted and we were talking about two different dose amounts at that moment. Accidents happen.

Yes honey is fine *if it becomes needed. Keep it around just in case. Do you have the hypo instructions nearby? I'll grab the link just in case!

ETA I take awhile to finish typing. Looks like you're doing alright so far. Just a little comfort though, you're not the first or last to have a little bit of something go wrong.
 
Nelli is... just du-day, du-dah. Outside with her- she just did a big cat stretch (btw, hasn’t been doing, since getting Antinol and Bupe :) :cat:). Just cruised next door to check things out.
Like Wendy said though, question is what she does at onset
 
I am back for a bit. Thankfully Sienne answered your questions on other meds.

Tonight can go one of two ways. If she goes low, it could last for quite a while. I don’t know if you remember Paul and Bronx recently? He ended up at the vet on a glucose drip for several hours. If you haven’t already, you might call whatever vet is open, probably ER, and let them know you might have to bring Nelli in. That way you don’t have to panic to find an open vet if/when you should need it. How many minutes away is the nearest open vet? Second way this could go is a non event.
