I cannot get to my SS sheet . on my regular computer - it says the file is not to be found.

However I can find it on my smart phone.
I signed into it on my smart phone with the oldest address I had, and no ss. Got the same message - the file is not to be found.
Then I signed into it using my new email addy, and Lo the ss showed up.
I think what happened is that somehow I am signed into Google using the old email, which does not have my ss.
How can I sign into my computer's Google with my new email, so that I can get into my ss?

Most likely your browser has cached some info about your old email/old info....You can do this: Use a different browser (if you have one)...not sure what you're using but you can look under Options/Internet History and try deleting your history. Clear out your cache so to speak - so it doesn't know about where you were before. If you have a new email try logging into the FelineDiabetes.com Forum with that new info - and see if it can find your SS then. It's most likely tangled up in the biz about old email vs new email - it's a matter of what account it thinks your SS is associated with...hope that helps...

On your computer, bring up Google.com. In the right-hand corner of the page, you'll see a circle with a pic or your initials in it. Click on that circle and it will bring up a box with your Google account information. If it is your old account, click on the sign out button. Once signed out, the circle will be replaced by a box made up of 9 small squares. Click on that and click on account from the drop-down box. On the Google Account page, click on the Sign In box in the upper right-hand corner of the page. Select your new gmail account from the list and if it is not included, select the Use Another Account option and enter your new gmail email address. Hopefully that gets you where you need to go!

I went into Chrome , cleared the cache, then signed into the FDMB, but no ss - says the file has been deleted. Is there any way to copy my ss from my LG smart phone to my computer?

Did you try the steps Amanda suggested? Here's a screen shot of what she was talking about:

I'm not finding a circle with a pic or my initials

I just tried to bring up your spreadsheet from your signature and it says the file was deleted. I was hoping we could work around from there...

I have no idea if this will work or not, but ... you said you can access the file on your phone. The file on my laptop has 3 dots in the top right corner. When I click on them, I have the option to share and export. I wonder if you could email the link to yourself and then open it on your computer.

Weird! I have never done anything with the SS's on my phone, but I would try to email it to yourself from your phone. If you bring up the email on your computer, you could resave it in Google Drive.

It isn't in my email, and I cannot bring up the url for it. how do I email it to my computer?

If you click the dots in the top right. Then click share and export. Then send a copy. Pick the excel file format and then I actually had a choice to copy it back into google drive.

I just downloaded Google Drive on my phone, and it looks like you should be able to send the file to email or even save to drive using those 3 dots in a vertical line.

Ugh......I had this happen to me once. Luckily, I saved the email when I first started the SS in a folder and could bring it up from that folder. I hope someone can help you as this is over my head as I am a tech mo mo.

I just opened google drive, and the ss appears in it. what's my next step?
So now you can click on the blue SHARE button in the upper right-hand corner. The box that comes up will give you a link. If one is not available, click on Get Shareable Link to copy the link. You can use that link to update the SS link in your signature on FDMB.

dangit. TiTi's file was copied as a pdf doc.

Also on my smart phone I'm not finding the share button. and now I need to sign into my old email because that's where her SS appeared.

Can you go back to Google.com on your computer and sign in (from the upper right-hand corner) with your old email? Try to review the Google Drive from there?

It would be the same process as when you sent the PDF, but you'd have to select the Google Sheets option I believe. Did you have the send a copy option? I was able to use that and select Email, Gmail, or Save to Drive option. I think you'd want the Email or Gmail option to send to your new email addy.
