05/10 OTJ day 4 Nam-kha AMBG 86

Hello everyone,

Nam-kha has her vet appointment today! It will be the first one since we started monitoring her at home. I'm not sure how our vet will react when she sees that we've been doing our own stuff, does she know about the TR protocol? We'll find that out this afternoon.

Her BG went back to normal. Is it okay if she stays in the 70-90s? I read it's supposed to be between 50s and 80s.

We tried new cans of wet food yesterday evening and this morning, Nam-kha seems to like them. I now have a list of what's good for her and what she likes... The guy at the pet store is my new best friend, I think I see him every 3 days.

Does any of your kitties is allergic to fleas? Nam-kha is, if you have any tips for us, that would be great! I'll ask the vet for a strong anti-fleas but I know it's not enough.

As long as she’s mostly green, I don’t think the particular numbers matter too much.

Your vet may have not heard of TR, you could print her or send her the link to the study, but most importantly, what is there to disapprove of when your cat has been diabetic over a year using her method and you did something different and she is now heading to remission?

I hope you find a food Princess Nam-kha approves of and will eat in her pink dish.

She's staying in good numbers and that is what is important. Each cat is different in what normal numbers are for them. Some cats naturally run in the 40s. I hope the vet visit goes well.

Happy Day 4! Looking great. Good look with the vet. I might not let vetty know what you’ve done if concerned although the nunbers show it all and if vetty wants to run a fructosamine I’d do it. JMHO.

Still in the green

Our vet appointment went GREAT! The vet was so pleased with Nam-kha, it was really sweet to see that she cares so much about my little princess! She was amazed by what we've done, following the TR protocol (she knew about it but never had any patient following it), and she said that Nam-kha looked great. The only thing is that she lost weight with her new diet. She suggested to look for higher calories wet food, that's what I'm doing already, but Nam-kha is still really picky... But the vet wasn't too concerned about it, Nam-kha still has a normal weight (4kg).

We booked an appointment 10 days from now. The vet wants to do a blood test after the OTJ trial We're going to check something about her kidneys, I hope she's alright... Because she's not drinking and peeing a lot like before, the vet said it's just good to check, but there is no big concern about it.
