C3 of 0.1 and going down quickly to greens (a dive of 100 pts from +2 to +3). I'm giving her 6%; I think she'd drop faster if I gave her lower carb than that. It'll be interesting to see how long she stays on the 0.1 and if she shark dives before I drop her anyway for the pet sitter.

Still trying to finish tax returns and get everything prepared for the trip: I need more time in the day! Or a few days off work... :-)

Slow down Girlie! Where is the fire??? She might need a bit of MC food if she continues on like this. What is C3 of 0.1 mean?

I hope you are going somewhere fun. It is a lot of work to get out of Dodge when you have pets and a diabetic one at that. We are leaving the end of the month for one week. A lot of work to just get out the door. And then taxes..... :eek: .DH is getting all our info together for the accountant. I am glad he has a business mind and just tells me what he needs from me.

Oh, if only I had an accountant! Still, I'd have to get everything together for an accountant, so there you go...

I knew she'd go down quickly on the 0.1. When she was on it before, I had to use MC and HC food (HC especially at night) to keep her from going for a shark dive. It's like she needs something in between the drop and the 0.1...

C3 = cycle 3. I just find it easier to do that so I can see at a glance what cycle I'm at, rather than having to go back and count - especially with the drop this last time, where we were up to cycle 36.

I hope you're going somewhere relaxing for a week! Yes, it is hard to get everything together. One of the things I've been thinking about is getting the pet sitter to sign a contract. Is that something that people usually do? I have no idea how this is done!
 
My great petsitter, who just moved out of town (sigh!), wrote up a contract. It had the name/contacts for vet, ER, backup person if I needed. It listed all things to be done, besides food, any meds, lap time, favourite toys, litter scooping. Location of kennel in case of emergency. Detailed logistics regarding house alarms, which treats are valid, common places to sleep, etc. She would send me regular pictures each day via WhatApp on my phone. I felt very comfortable with her even the first time.

Looks like a nice run of safe greens today. :D

Fantastic - thanks for that list, Wendy. I'll draw all of that up for her.

Yes, the increase to 0.1 put her back into green. I just wish she wouldn't nose dive there! We'll see how she goes tonight. :D
 
:DI hope she surfed last night! Girlie is looking sooooo good:)

I left tons of similar info/notes for my pet sitter too! I even took pics of my tv remotes and added side notes on what button turns on what:p I figure the more info she had the easier it would be to stay in a strange house for a week. She too would send me daily text messages, with pictures of course, and kitty updates. In this case Ming's poopscapades:smuggrin:

I'm glad Girlie has settled down for you and you can go away and not worry...too much. We all worry;)
 
She was in a hurry to be green again. Pssst, Girlie...you can just stay in green and then there’s no need to rush to it! ;)
