Boy it was close tonight. There was a flashing light at one of the main intersections that took me almost 15 min to get through. I made it and shot @ 4:29p (whew)!

Got to run get some strips - I opened my last box of 100 and I am freaking out that I don't have an extra box - lol.

Not sure what to think of this PM # - maybe a bounce from his lower numbers this morning? IDK - because I am not home to see how low he actually went today.

Omg. I've felt that anxiety of "will I get home in time" when dealing with doctor appointments. I am glad you got the shot on time.

Speaking of anxiety... I have so much that when I hit 500 strips I order another 400. I used to do it at 400, but then there was a shipping delay.... Seriously I am a bit neurotic about supplies but it keeps me from having nightmares about them.

I hope sweet Gizmo slides on down tonight. :bighug:

I am the same way - I order almost everything on line. Food is arriving (actually part arrived today) tomorrow. Ordered 1/2 years worth of syringes right before the holidays. Full vile of insulin in refrigerator already. The strips are about the only thing I don't order on line. I get them from a neighborhood Walmart that is about 3 miles away and open 24 hr/day. They usually only have one box (100) on the shelf. I don't shop much at Walmart so it is just a quick trip in/out.

Was today a bit better than yesterday? What grade do you teach?
 
I hope he will be ok. I got to go to sleep.

UPS has lost an $80 box of food. Shows it was delivered @ 6:30p (left at front door). It isn't here. Hubby went around to the neighbors and looked all around the house - MIA. We have been home all evening.

Noticed a "spot" on Gizmo's eye - it is in the color part of the eye (iris?). It looks like the white spots that Australasian Shepherds have but not quite as "bright". Who knows how long it has been there. His pupils are usually quite large so that is why I haven't noticed it before (or it really is new). It doesn't seem to be anything of concern - no watery eye, no discharge. He has always blinked one or both of his eyes (we call him winker) - that hasn't changed any?? Doesn't seem to bother him. IDK But it has me worried now that I noticed it.

Oh, and the heating element in our water heater has gone out so we are getting luke warm water (at best) - I noticed it yesterday morning and it has just gotten worse and worse. Should be a nice cool shower tomorrow a.m.

When it rains it pores.

Happy with his numbers though! He will get his +6.5 snack in about 1 hour 15 min so I feel he should be ok.
