Happy Fursday!

WCR: Most Ps in place. Appy is only so-so this morning...for both of us. Don't know about her, but my tummy hurts. This morning, she went to jump from the toilet to the sink basin and didn't make it. Like her back legs weren't strong enough to propel her. And just a minute ago, she was crossing over my lap to get to her blanket and her legs were wobbly/weak. These are things i've noticed before, but I feel like they are getting worse...much worse. :eek: She's still a sweetheart, but I don't know what to do to help her. :( Hope all of your kitties are happy and healthy. Give them scritches from me!

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Poor Shasta. Have you looked into B-12? I believe some people use it for the leg weakness. Maybe ask in your subject line. I hope you both have a better day and your tummy feels better.

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Feel better vines for you and Shasta. It sure is a nice start for her today. Bummer on the leg weakness. How are her potassium levels? I remember you were treating her for that before? The B12 could help too.

Have a great day. I hope all goes well.

Shasta is receiving B-12...1 zobaline a day. She's also getting 1/2 capsule of Cosequin a day. Her Potassium levels were much better at last blood draw, but I have not given her any K supplements in a while (she has a tendency to stop eating the fuds and then we're in that cycle of not eating any fud mama puts down for her.)

You are doing such a loving and great job with your Shasta. We know about those gradual declines, then something happens that makes it more noticeable and it kicks off all sorts of bean worry. We had to add potassium to our civvie Tillie lately, and after a month of pilling, we got her to take the powder in food. But, she doesn't have the appy issues that our Zener did. So hard with our kitties with appy issues. Does Shasta get fluids, that is another option for potassium. :bighug:
