Yesterday's Condo

@Wendy&Neko Thanks for the advice last night.

Yesterday we had a bit of a hiccup in our Trial. Sammy ended up getting some Duck yesterday morning. I had given the food to Crystal for breakfast, and I turned my back for just a moment and Sammy went over to Crystal's dish around the corner. I didn't know how much he got or how it would affect him, but if you have followed our condo for while you know that Sammy spiked up after having Duck. He was up to 172 yesterday afternoon. I ended up giving fluids a day early to help bring his BG back down and I was very happy when he woke me up at 3 am and gave me a 67.

This morning is up a bit from the early morning 67, but I like it so much better than 172.

For the rest of the trial there will be no food experimentation, and Crystal will just have to deal with not getting the Duck for while. I just don't want to take that chance. Maybe when I get back from knit camp I can experiment a LITTLE, but I will monitor his BG more closely when I do those experiments. For now I will stick with the food that we know works.

Hope everyone has a great day. No mid-day trips home from the office to test today. It will be nice not to have that stress.

Looking GREAT Sammy!! :D :D And I wouldn't worry about yesterday when you know he got food that makes his BG spike - he came right back down on his own which is good news for showing his pancreas working (anti-jinx).

Go Sammy! :D Happy Day 3!

Looks like you did less testing today Tina. ;) The trial is also for the bean to learn to ease off, but it's amazing how many people find that the hardest part.
