Bailey lost another 1/2lb this week. We restarted the enzymes yesterday but at a very low dose and we have a plan to get him up over the next week to a higher dose that works. Trying it gradually so as not to upset his stomach this time. ie the below but supplementing with regular food no enzymes. We need to get him to 1/3 tsp on each of 2 + FF cans and its going to take over a week.
But its painfully slow and he is so so skinny.
We know even without the enzymes he is absorbing a small proportion of food ( or he would have died a year ago) so we are giving him dry as well to try and get more calories into him.. last night overnight he ate 1 full cup of purina DM and a can of FF. Thats 600 calories for a 6lb cat.
